Four Points by Sheraton Memphis - Southwind

Overall, this is not a bad property persay. Its dated, its cheap, its safe. Staff is lazy, but this is a $100 a night hotel — not much to be expected. Location is decent. Stayed here multiple times…..does smell like weed sometimes…not all that shocking. But for $100 a night..I dont think it can be beat.

En route from Texas to NYC, this was our first night stopover. The room was average and fit us fairly well (we were a family of 5). The staff was accommodating and saw to it that our requests were seen to. I would say that this pushed up my impression of this place from average to good!

Very clean, beds were firm but comfy. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was great. The location was a bit dangerous at night. People try break into cars because the car’s alarm was on a few times. Then the next morning a few sheriff deputies were in the hotel investigating. Which is great. I also found this bright item inside the bed and I get scared is in the video. So I really don’t know what it is. For the restaurant situation, they don’t offer complementary breakfast. This is a dinner in restaurant but they don’t know what to do. They don’t bring you everything to eat correctly. Overall, is not so bad. Probably I won’t return in the future. Sorry…

Pros: Staff was friendly at check-in. Room and lobby each were very clean and smelled nice. Furnishings and fixtures were modern and properly functioned. The room was very large and fully carpeted. BED was very comfortable and the linens were good quality. Kuerig coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge in room. The location felt safe and was quiet. Rate was affordable. Cons: None

The room we got was suprisingly clean. The staff were nice. Only giving 4 stars because the room is really thin, that I could hear people's footsteps above me and other people's business from the room right next to us. But other than that, the location was ideal for the Fed Ex golf tournament, its 10mins away from the golf course

The staff was very helpful and polite. There were a couple of small things, like the toiled handle was broken but, we didn't even bother to complain about that. As someone who worked for a couple of big chain hotels, I know all hotels have something wrong, and this was nothing major, we could still flush it. It was only one night but the hotel and staff were so accommodating and nice, it made me want to extend our stay. indoor pool, bar, patio area and more. We will be staying here again... Thanks

We stayed at Southwind Sheraton Memphis and it was a great stay. Our room was very clean, and Shawn at the front desk gave us excellent service. Giving us the 4th floor per my hubby's request. Also, Tony the hotel evening manager was very nice and stopped over at the bar to kid and joke with everyone. It was 20 mins. from downtown Memphis (for Business). We had a very pleasant stay.
